The Cottagers came back from behind at home to snatch a point away from Ruben Amorim's side, who are yet to register a win in the 2025-26 Premier League campaign after the first two matches.

United took the lead just before the hour mark as Leny Yoro's header from close range deflected off Rodrigo Muniz and into the Fulham goal. Just when it seemed Amorim's men would finally secure all three points, former Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe came off the bench and scored the equaliser in the 73rd minute from his very first touch of the match.

Earlier in the first half, captain Bruno Fernandes squandered a spot-kick as he blasted the ball way over the crossbar. The Portuguese midfielder, who dropped deep to play alongside Casemiro in a two-man midfield, had a forgetful outing, as according to Fulham's Iwobi, it was the Red Devils' central area the Cottagers exploited the most.
WHAT IWOBI SAID
Speaking to , the ex-Arsenal star said: "The resilience to come back. We knew that the difference could be made off the bench. It is better to not lose, and we are able to get a good point against a good team. We knew that we would be able to get behind their two midfielders and that their centre-backs would want to jump – we exploited that today."
