The young forward has been on fine form in the Spanish top flight since joining on loan from the Red Devils in the summer, taking his tally up to nine goal contributions for the season with a goal and assist in a 3-0 victory over Sevilla earlier this month. According to that same report, the "overwhelming view" of the Blaugrana representatives is that Greenwood would be "tailor-made" for Camp Nou. The Catalan club are determined to land the 22-year-old and are thought to be leading the race in that regard. Any move by Barcelona would take place in the summer, though, as they look set to face stiff competition from their league rivals.
DID YOU KNOW?
Greenwood's performance against Atletico reportedly caught the eye of the Rojiblanco hierarchy, while local rivals Real Madrid are also thought to be in the mix. Getafe are, naturally, keen to make his loan move permanent, and are said to have already tabled a £40m ($51m) bid ahead of the January window to stave off potential competition.

The report also notes interest from Valencia and Real Sociedad, meaning the Englishman's future is almost certain to be in Spain. Despite Erik ten Hag's reported interest in keeping him at United, it seems that door is almost certainly closed, and Greenwood will be moved on when his loan expires in June.
