Connor Wickham’s time at Crystal Palace has been severely affected by injury issues.
The striker moved to Selhurst Park in the summer of 2015, but he has made just 41 appearances in all competitions from that point until the current day.
The 26-year-old still has just over a year left on his contract with the south London outfit, and what is even more galling for the club, the player and the fans is that he has scored 10 goals at a rate of just under one every four outings for the Eagles.
Despite being pictured in training Wickham has found himself out of favour and behind the likes of Jordan Ayew and Christian Benteke in the pecking order, and hasn’t worn the red and blue shirt since a late cameo against Liverpool back in January.
One supporter on the Holmesdale forum has suggested that he could be on the move after supposedly putting his house up for sale.
Others were quick to respond to have their say on the attacker’s future.
What are they saying? Interesting comments?
There certainly is.
Regret seems to be the dish of the day for some, believing that he could have been a big player for Palace had he not suffered so badly with injury problems.
The comment about him being fit and available for a while probably tells you all you need to know about how Roy Hodgson feels about the 26-year-old.

In that respect, an exit is surely likely if the Eagles can find a buyer or a club that wants to loan the striker.
However, with the £55,000-a-week wages one fan here believes he is on, they may be forced to stick with him for another 12 months and hope he comes good, as another supporter suggests.
